The Hacker grammar exercise is useful and good for me to understand. There are lots of clearing grammar sentences to show us how to make a good sentence. A correct sentence is very important for me to write article during my daily life. I think that Word choice is very useful for me and it helps me to know how to use good vocabulary to express my opinions. My punctuation is very bad. Sometimes my American friends did not understand what I wanted to talk about my article, because my sentence is very long, I did not like use punctuation. For example, E-ex 35-1 “Some examples of reptiles are: lizards, snakes, crocodiles, and turtles” is not correct. The exercise tells me reason is no mark of punctuation should appear between a verb and its subject complement. After I read E-ex 35-1, I knew a little how to improve my punctuation, and I will still learn how to punctuate better and cleaner. In my study life, I think Grammar Basics is the most important to help us to use English. We can do with international people about our business, when my English is prefect. I will introduce my friends to use it.
